Branding & Logo - Webros Developments

We have recently been approached my a new start up company called Webros Developments.  Garry has just started up as a Property Lettings and Sales Management company in the Sheffield Area.  The company are going from strength to strength by upgrading student lets and offering them for rent, attracting professional people.

Their properties are all inclusive of goods, services, and are fully furnished to high  standards, and the service is first class! www.webros.co.uk

Garry wanted to make an impression with the branding and had an idea for his logo.  We took the initial concept and developed it into the perfect solution for them.  We then got onto design his business cards, advertising boards and website, not only that, we also designed the stationery for the office.. creating the simple but effective branding design solution.

THE GREEN EFFECT

THE GREEN EFFECT

Wellbeing Therapies with Nancy Laats offers a wide range of holistic therapies.  Nancy has worked in the health and beauty profession since 1995 and her passion has always been focused in giving her clients (men and women) the very best personal and professional care that they deserve.  Her products and services include Dermalogica, Geleration and HD Brows.

Nancy needed a web presence to promote her business more effectively and help to gain new clients.  She had a vague idea of what she wanted using a green theme.  Our designer got to work and came up with a few concepts for her to choose from.  We built her website including some of her graphics, some stock images and content.  We automatically include key words to help with her SEO and also made it mobile friendly, so that her clients could also view the website on a mobile device, everything to get her up and running as quickly as possible.

Keeping the same theme, we also created her business cards, which she was extremely pleased with, as she understands that it is very important to keep her brand consistent.

LOGO DESIGN - RESPONSE NETWORK

Logo design – response network

Response Network Ltd is the recruitment agency for you if you are really looking for the personal touch, from passionate, honest and dedicated recruiters. With over 20 years of combined recruitment experience and company vision is simply to provide the best recruitment service possible and build strong long standing relationships with both clients and candidates.

Even though Response have been established as a business for a while, they hadn’t actually got round to having a company logo. They asked us to come up with some ideas for one, so that they could use it alongside their website and social media platforms to create more of a brand buzz.

They had previously used a magnifying glass as part of their branding, so we took that concept and created a few concepts, in addition they used a speech bubble on their website, and wondered if we could do something with that.

Response decided to go with the speech bubble aspect, as they already had similar incorporated in their branding, therefore wouldn’t have to drastically change their existing “look” as well as wanting something quite ‘generic’ to build their profile on.

Call Easy Marketing now on 07745 439847, so that we can make your first impression count.

YOUR LOGO SPEAKS VOLUMES

YOUR LOGO “SPEAKS VOLUMES”

A creative considered logo is a must for your brand; that’s obvious isn’t it?  An eye catching logo will make people want to learn more about you, it is critical to say “who you are”, but remember that a logo doesn’t always need to say what your company does.

In reality, what a logo should do is represent your company image when you can’t be there, so if you sell eggs for instance, you do not have to have eggs or chickens incorporated into your logo - I’m not saying you can’t, just that it isn’t always necessary.

When designing the concept of your logo, there are a number of things that should be considered, but first things first, you need to first decide on colour.

Did you know, that blue is the most popular colour for a company logo, this is not really surprising when you think that blue quite naturally instils feelings of trust, Adidas, Samsung, American Express, IBM, HP, Dell and Ford all have blue logos, there are many many more to look out for too.

97% of companies use only one or two colours in their logos, take a look at Coca Cola, Facebook, Shell, Lacoste or McDonalds for examples, so you need to think whether you really need any more than that.

Here are a few of our examples of what to think about when choosing the right colour mix and what they mean, for when you are selecting your logo and branding:

Blue                 =          Trust, dependability and strength
Red                 =          Action and energy
Yellow             =          Optimism and motivation
Green              =          nature and serenity
Purple              =          Mysterious and sophisticated
Orange            =          Confident and friendly
Pink                 =          Excitement, romance and youthfulness

So, what is your logo and the colours you use saying about your company?

WHAT ARE #HASHTAGS IN SOCIAL MEDIA?

There are many misconceptions surrounding the correct use of hash tags on social media websites - Twitter especially. Unfortunately, because of this many businesses are using hash tags incorrectly online and as a result are deterring their online business status.
A hashtag is a word or a phrase prefixed with the symbol #. This is a form of meta-tag (the way Google and other search facilities read information) and is used highly through social media and microblogging sites, like Twitter, LinkedIn or Google+. Not just Twitter – as many people seem to believe.

Let us give you some correct examples of using hashtags within social media.
“@MarketingSMEs: Thoroughly enjoyed the East Midlands Conference Centre F2B Breakfast event! #BNIF2B :)”
A couple of our team recently attended a 'BNI Forward 2 Business Breakfast event.' At the event the speackers announced a specific hash tag so that any posts could be targeted and specific. If anyone else joined in this hashtag it would come up in a news feed and would be a great way to communicate with other attendees of the event.

In example, #BNIF2B event today - saw @andy_bounds in action again - great talk on improving your sales” was a different twitter account who hopped into the hash tag and so it also came up in the news feed alongside Easy Marketing’s post.

Hopefully this blog has given you some insights into how you should be using #hashtags on social media sites. Be SPECIFIC and use them right - and you can do your business the world of good!

LOGO DESIGN - CARING THERAPIES NOTTINGHAM

Following on from our 'What makes a good logo?' post, our designer has been busy designing the perfect logo for a lovely new business start-up Irsha, who is the owner of Caring Therapies.

A member of our team met Irsha at a networking event in Nottingham and she couldn't resist setting up a meeting with a member of our friendly team after seeing that Easy Marketing understand that SMEs are limited by tight budgets; this is why we offer our services at low prices, all done in-house by our dedicated, creative team.

It was really interesting to find out about the hypnotherapy services Irsha provides as well as her easibirthing programme, and you can see that she is really passionate about her job and is naturally a caring person - which is where her company name 'Caring Therapies' originated from.

As well as creating Irsha a fantastic new logo, we will also be designing new business cards and a5 size leaflets.

LOGO DESIGN - WHAT MAKES A GOOD LOGO?

Deciding on your branding is one of the first essential steps a start-up business must take. Think about it... The difference between having a great brand identity and having a logo could mean you win that great bit of business ahead of competitors.

Being passionate marketer's ourselves, why not take our lovely logo into consideration..

Many people who we meet tend to recognise our company from our 'pink bird' brand identity - who we humorously call Bert. During 60-second pitches our team tend to close themselves by referring back to Bert; "Come and talk to the bird."

Simple yet effective and unique brand identities are the ones that you tend to remember. Another great example of this would be McDonald's who have the famous golden arches for their brand identity and a strap line of "I'm lovin' it".

If you need help yourself on planning a brand identity and/or need a logo designing - why not talk to the bird at Easy Marketing for a free, no-obligation chat about the future of your business?
